ROCKFORD, ILL. — Three people were killed and three others were injured after a shooting that took place at a bowling alley in Rockford, Ill. on Saturday night.
Rockford Police's official Twitter account tweeted out at 7:15 p.m. that there was an active shooter investigation near Don Carter Lanes. Rockford PD said the shooting was random and that a person of interest was in custody.
According to Police Chief Dan O-Shea, two of the victims in the shooting were teenagers. The incident remains under investigation.
