VILLAGE OF RAYMOND — A 19-year-old Racine man died in a two-vehicle crash Thursday, according to the Racine County Sheriff’s Office.

Dylan Pavia lost control of a Chevrolet Monte Carlo, veered into oncoming traffic and struck a Chrysler Town & Country van, according to an initial investigation.

After striking the van, the Chevrolet continued rolling several times before coming to a stop in a field, police said.

About 1:50 p.m., police responded to the scene at County Highway U and 76th Street, just south of 7 Mile Road in the Village of Raymond.

The initial caller, who was not involved in the crash, is a member of the Raymond Fire and Rescue Department. He told dispatchers a person was ejected from one of the vehicles and appeared deceased.

The operator of the van was an 84-year-old woman from Franksville, who was not injured.
