KENOSHA — A 15-year-old boy has been shot inside of an apartment in the 4900 block of 38th Avenue.
The boy was transported to Froedtert-Kenosha South Campus and was in stable condition after surgery.
An 18-year-old man was taken into custody on a probation hold, as the investigation continues. The two were acquaintances, and detectives believe there is no threat to the community.
Officers recovered a firearm from the apartment unit. A recommendation on possible charges will be determined no sooner than Monday.
