JANESVILLE, Wis. — A 14-year-old was charged with making terrorist threats to Marshall Middle School, according to Janesville police.
The police were notified of the threat at 7:45 p.m. Friday. The teen allegedly posted the threat on social media with a picture of a firearm.
Police located the teenager and arrested them. The firearm displayed online was fake, according to police.
The teenager was held at the Juvenile Detention Center after admitting to the social media post.
