Milwaukee Police say a 14-year-old is in custody after taking his mom's car for a joy ride and crashing it near 60th and Phillips.
The teen driver was first spotted driving at speeds just under 100 mph near 21st and Locust. That's when police began a pursuit of the vehicle.
The teen blew through multiple lights and signs and eventually ran up on a curb and onto the median, according to police.
No one was injured in the crash. The whole pursuit lasted under 10 minutes.
Police say they do not believe drugs or alcohol were involved with this case.
