BRISTOL, Wis. — Dozens of crews responded to a 10-acre brush fire along Wilmot Road in the village of Bristol on Friday evening.
First responders included multiple crews from Racine, Kenosha, Lake, and McHenry counties, working together to extinguish the blaze.
According to the Bristol Fire Department, the fire likely started when someone burned items in their yard or nearby. Dry conditions helped the fire spread.
Officials said it took about two hours to put out the fire. No injuries were reported.
