Milwaukee-area municipalities release election numbers ahead of Nov. 3

MILWAUKEE — Municipalities in the Milwaukee area are releasing the number of ballots cast so far ahead of the Nov. 3 election.

The following areas released the number of ballots returned, the number of registered voters, and the percent of registered voters who have already voted, as of Oct. 30.

Shorewood:
Ballots returned: 7300 (includes mail & in-person absentee)
Registered voters: 10,235
71% of all registered voters in Shorewood have already voted

Milwaukee (city):
Ballots returned: 142211 (includes mail & in-person absentee)
Registered voters: 309868
46% of all registered voters in Milwaukee have already voted

Kenosha (city):
Ballots returned: 27027 (includes mail & in-person absentee)
Registered voters: 51183
53% of all registered voters in Kenosha have already voted

Racine (city):
Ballots returned: 17157 (includes mail & in-person absentee)
Registered voters: 36891
47% of all registered voters in Racine have already voted

Waukesha (city):
Ballots returned: 23643 (includes mail & in-person absentee)
Registered voters: 42505
56% of all registered voters in Waukesha have already voted

Franklin:
Ballots returned: 14584 (includes mail & in-person absentee)
Registered voters: 23443
62% of all registered voters in Franklin have already voted

New Berlin:
Ballots returned: 17780 (includes mail & in-person absentee)
Registered voters: 29202
61% of all registered voters in New Berlin have already voted
