GREENFIELD — City of Greenfield officials said they have seen a steady stream of in-person absentee voters over the last week.

The city has around 23,000 registered voters.

"I’m expecting our number of absentee ballots will go up by another one thousand by the end of the week," said Lisa Pelkey Administrative Assistant with the City of Greenfield.

Lisa said this year they have seen an increase in absentee voters but she still anticipates Nov. 3 to be a busy voting day.

“Expect there could be lines because of COVID, you may be outside instead of in the building so just be prepared,” said Lisa.

In-person absentee voting ends in Greenfield on Friday, Oct. 30.
