NEW BERLIN — In the City of New Berlin, residents were quick to stop by the City’s Clerk's office to cast their ballot before the end of early voting.

Christopher Coris had the day off from work, so his first trip Friday morning was to head straight to the poll.

“I figured it would be a great opportunity and if I get here at 10:30 in the morning it’s a slow time to vote,” said Christopher.

Christopher said he typically votes early and for one main reason.

“It’s going to be busy already so get out and do it early and avoid the crowd,” he said.

Jan Hermann said she was going to vote on Nov. 3, but changed her mind.

"I thought maybe I better do this ahead of time to avoid any type of chaos on Election Day,” said Jan.

Friday was the last day for in-person absentee voting in New Berlin and in Franklin.

Voting begins at 7:00 a.m., on Election day.
