The MECCA, Beer Garden to reopen Friday

MILWAUKEE — The Deer District's MECCA Bar and Grill and Beer Garden are scheduled to reopen on Friday with menu and seating adjustments.

Both restaurants will open on Friday at 11 a.m. with a 25 percent capacity. They both have implemented new guidelines to help ensure the health of customers and staff. They also offer new menus, touch-less pay options, and expanded seating areas.

Both establishments will also offer curbside pickup in addition to their in-house dining.

“The safety of our guests and employees is our top priority while reopening The MECCA Sports Bar and Grill and The Beer Garden,” said Michael Belot, Senior Vice President of Bucks Ventures and Development. “We look forward to welcoming back our guests under these new guidelines and providing them with a safe and healthy environment and a great experience to dine and watch sports.”

All employees will wear face masks, and some tables have been removed in order to maximize social distancing.

Refills will be served in new glasses, and visitors will be served by one person in order to limit contact. Additionally, guests are urged to wear face masks when not eating or drinking.

According to a press release, The MECCA will be open Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Fridays, and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to close, and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. The Beer Garden will be open on Thursdays and Fridays from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

You can also order pickup from these establishments. Food will be brought to your vehicle in a sealed bag, from a manager wearing a mask and gloves. According to a press release, delivery will also be available in the coming weeks.
