MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett has outlined how the city will begin to reopen businesses.

Storefronts and retail locations can reopen but only operate at 25 percent capacity. Gyms can open but only allow 10 people inside at a time. Garage sales are permitted. However, bars and restaurants are not allowed to offer dine-in services yet. They can only offer carry-out.

This order went into effect as of 1 p.m. Thursday, May 21.

This comes the day before many suburban Milwaukee cities plan to reopen their economies.
