MILWAUKEE — Leader Paper Products launched a new campaign that is giving away 1 million thank you cards for front-line workers.

The campaign, called "A Million Thanks," is a way to thank front-line workers for all they're doing during the coronavirus pandemic.

“We wanted to do something special to show our appreciation for essential workers during this time,” said Steve Hipp, Leader Paper Products CEO. “By distributing 250,000 free sets of cards, the A Million Thanks! campaign will literally give one million thanks to these everyday heroes.”

Each set of cards contains four thank yous which are to be given to any front-line employee.

Community members are asked to head to Leader Paper Products, located at 901 S 5 St. in Walkers Point, to pick up a set of cards.

They will be open from 9 a.m. until noon on Saturday. Volunteers distributing the cards will all be wearing gloves and masks, as well as keeping a distance of six-feet between one another. Additionally, pick up will be as contact free as possible.

There is a total of 16 different designs on the front of the cards, all of which were designed by a graphic designer. Workers spent several weeks creating and packaging the cards which have an estimated retail value of $1.2 million.

If businesses would like to place a large order of cards, they can visit the Leader Paper products website here, email amillionthanks@leaderpaper.com, or call 414-645-5760.
