HARTFORD — The Hartford Veterans Memorial Aquatic Center has chosen to close through Wednesday in a precautionary measure to prevent COVID-19.

According to Steve Volkert, Hartford City Administrator, the center will reopen Thursday morning.
"As the safety of our patrons and staff continue to be our top priority at Hartford’s Veterans Memorial Aquatic Center, we are taking all possible measures to make our facility as safe of COVID-19 so everyone can feel free to enjoy our pool," said Hartford.
