Wisconsin is set to receive $3.8 million in housing aid from the Department of Urban Housing and Development as part of the CARES Act. The goal is to help those battle hardships brought on by the coronavirus pandemic.
That money is going to be distributed between 52 different public housing authorities in the state.
This federal funding will help low-income families buy cleaning supplies, childcare costs, and relocation efforts for those needed hospitalization/quarantining among other things.
