Outagamie County officials say a woman is dead after being trapped under a golf cart.
It happened Wednesday afternoon in the Town of Freedom in the 3500-block of CTH C.
An 86-year-old woman and her husband were driving a golf cart around their property when they stopped to remove an obstruction.
Deputies say the victim accidentally hit the gas and the golf cart went down a steep embankment and rolled over after hitting a culvert.
When deputies arrived, the woman was trapped and was not breathing.
