Recently Wisconsin legislators debated whether to reduce regulation and licensing requirements for people who cut hair and operate beauty salons. The legislation is part of a larger effort by some lawmakers to reduce or eliminate occupational licensing requirements for other jobs. Some of the jobs that currently require a state license or certification might surprise you.
