MILWAUKEE -- The holiday season is in full swing in the Milwaukee area and there are many places to take in all of the bright, beautiful holiday lights.
Here are the five best places to enjoy the holiday lights.
Where: Located in West Allis, Candy Cane Lane's light festival will remain open until Dec. 26. For directions, click here.
When: Weekday hours are 6-9 p.m. Weekend hours (Saturday and Sunday) are 5-10 p.m.
Information: Candy Cane Lane has been a tradition since 1984, raising over $2 million for the MACC Fund.
Where: Located in Milwaukee at the Miller Brewery.
When: The light show takes place each Friday and Saturday through Dec. 22. Shows run every 20 minutes, beginning at 4:40 p.m. and ending at 9 p.m.
Information: For the 15th year in a row, around 700,000 synchronized lights will light up the entire Miller Valley. Visitors will receive a free brewery mini-tour, giveaway and beer samples.
Where: Pere Marquette Park at 900 N. Plankinton Ave, Milwaukee.
When: The light display will be up until Jan. 1.
Information: On Dec. 8, Santa and Mrs. Claus will make a special visit for Cocoa with the Clauses. You can drop off a letter to Santa in the nearby mailbox.
Where: BMO Harris Bank lobby. 770 N. Water St.
When: The display will be up until Jan. 2. Monday through Friday, the display will be up from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. On Saturday and Sunday, the hours will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. On Dec. 8 and 24, hours will be 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. On Dec. 25 and Jan.1, hours will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Information: The bank's 46 annual holiday display is Dr. Seuss themed, bringing over 16 of his books to life.
Where: Cathedral Square in downtown Milwaukee. 520 E. Wells St.
When: The lights will be up through Jan. 1.
