The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train rolled into Milwaukee’s Intermodal Station Thursday night as hundreds of people lined up at the station to see the train and celebrate the holidays.
The train makes dozens of stops in the US and Canada to raise awareness for local food banks and entertain children in the process.
Sherrie Tussler of Milwaukee’s Hunger Task Force says “We’ll collect a couple of thousands of pounds of food today, people will donate money Canadian Pacific will write a check for us tonight.”
The train will make several more stops in Wisconsin Friday before heading to Minnesota. Check out the schedule here.
