MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee artist Zed Kenzo is on the rise. She played for a packed Summerfest audience at the Johnson Control stage, which she says was her largest ever audience. For context, there wasn't even enough space for all the fans to fit.
From her choir and musical roots to alternative hip hop, Zed Kenzo has an eclectic style. She is a hip hop producer and artist. She started playing music when she was seven and got her stage debut as a dancer. Now, she focuses on hip hop and channeling her "baby swag."
"Baby swag is what my aura is. I have a very youthful energy," she said.
She was put through a barrage of rapid-fire questions and even gave us a quick taste of her free-styling abilities. You can watch the video to learn about a side of Zed Kenzo not many others have seen.
