MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee has lots of great things to do around town this weekend.
Whether you're looking to celebrate different ethnicities, chow down on lobster or rock some neon, big hair and fanny packs at the Art Museum, there is absolutely something for everyone happening this weekend in the Brew City.
The City of Festivals
Irish Fest is celebrating Celtic music and culture on the Summerfest grounds this weekend. India Festat Humboldt Park honors the essence of Indian culture. The Great American Lobster Fest at the Fiserv Forum plaza will be a Wisconsin first.
Arts and Music
MAM After Dark brings 1970s–1980s New York to the Art Museum on Friday night. Also, "Street" With Thurston Moore Live at the Oriental Theatre will be on Milwaukee’s east side Friday at 7 p.m.
Brewery Anniversaries
Several breweries are celebrating anniversaries in the Milwaukee area. Mobcraft will be included in the Weird Fest Block Party in Walker's Point on Saturday. Gathering Place Brewing is holding a block party in Riverwest on Saturday as well.
