Competitive eating legend Joey Chestnut will partake in the inaugural cheese curd eating contest at the Wisconsin State Fair, but that is not going to scare local eaters from participating as well.
Andrew "The Bear" Kogutkiewicz is a professional eater from Racine and he sat down with Susan Kim to not only discuss how he got into competitive eating but also show her, and eventually Brian Niznansky, how he plans to eat the curds and possibly give Chestnut a run for his money.
The cheese curd eating contest will be at the State Fairgrounds at noon on August 11. The contest will last for six minutes and the winner will be granted $4,000 and a probable stomachache.
