GREEN BAY — The Green Bay Packers' training camp has gotten off to an exciting start this summer, as fans eagerly wait for the start of the 2019 NFL season.

The team will hold its annual Family Night event on Friday, allowing the community to attend a full practice.

Along with watching the 2019 team take the practice field, the event will also include the popular "Jerseys Off Our Backs" promotion, complete with Packers jerseys worn in the (just-completed) practice.

Organizers said a special fireworks and laser show will conclude the "game-like" evening.

We've included some important things to know if you're planning on heading to Titletown this weekend:

Traffic
It takes about two hours to get to Lambeau Field from Milwaukee. Traffic can become congested quickly when entering the Green Bay area, so be sure to give yourself extra time. The most up-to-date traffic information is available from NBC 26 here.

Weather
Get ready for some fun in the sun. We're expecting temperatures to be in the 80s, with minimal chances for rain. Keep track of the most up-to-date forecast here or download our StormShield app.

Parking
Several different parking options are available nearby. If you're planning on parking close, no buses, RVs or oversized vehicles are allowed in the Lambeau Field lot. Street parking is sometimes available, too. For more information on parking, click here.

Security
Prohibited items include weapons, bags, backpacks, duffel bags, coolers, large purses, fanny packs, umbrellas, strollers, food and beverages, and video cameras. Additional information on security can be found here.
