Sheboygan Lutheran's valedictorian, who is gay, met Jennifer Lopez at Summerfest Wednesday after being prohibited from giving his high school graduation speech.
Sheboygan Lutheran valedictorian Nat Werth was banned from giving his graduation speech in June after the school read a draft of his speech where he mentioned being gay. He offered to edit that paragraph out, but when the school realized he was gay, it decided he shouldn't speak for the class.

“They all of a sudden said they didn’t trust me to give a speech,” the 18-year-old told the "Today" show in June.
The 18-year-old was able to give his graduation speech at Milwaukee’s Pride Fest in June and was honored for his courage. J.Lo was impressed with his message and wanted to thank him.
The 49-year-old pop star has been an ardent supporter in the LGBTQ community.
