By now, you might be looking for something else to do with your children besides another trip to the playground, but when money is tight, it helps if the summer fun can be free.
TODAY’S TMJ4 worked with Erin Guenterberg with Lake County Family Fun. The local mom has compiled a massive list of free events happening in Southeast Wisconsin. Click here to check it out.
Here are just some of her long list of free events:
1. Free Movie Nights:
Families can enjoy free movie nights at parks all over the area. There are parks in Milwaukee, Oconomowoc, Elm Grove, Sussex, New Berlin, Brookfield and more playing summer films.
2. Free Programs at Libraries:
You can also find free programs at your local library. Besides story time, many have crafts and even visits from local entertainers.
3. Free Water Ski Shows:
Check out shows this summer on Little Muskego Lake or Pewaukee Lake
4. Free Bowling:
There's a national program called Kids Bowl Free where you get two free games. Bowling alleys in Menomonee Falls, Muskego and Sussex are taking part in the program.
