MILWAUKEE — MILWAUKEE — Residents in Milwaukee's Riverwest neighborhood will have new food options to enjoy starting this week.
A newly announced Food Truck Park will begin Friday along the Beerline Trail at 3334 N. Holton in Milwaukee. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekly.
The Food Truck Park will be the first of its kind on the city’s northeast side.
“I encourage all ‘foodies’ and residents looking for a new tasty lunch experience to stop by Food Truck Fridays on the Beerline Trail,” said local Alderwoman Milele Coggs. “This Food Truck Park seeks to unite the Harambee and Riverwest neighborhoods by creating a welcoming and functional public space for all to enjoy while eating a delicious lunch.”
Trucks will include a variety of food options such as Jamaican, vegetarian/vegan and American cuisine.
