FLASHBACK: Notable 1990s Summerfest performers

Summerfest attempted to spread its wings in the 1990s by launching a Winterfest program for the colder months. It never caught on, but the original version of Summerfest continued to thrive, with new stages, sponsorships and top-selling acts performing each year. The decade of grunge rock and boy bands saw the likes of Pearl Jam, Alanis Morissette, Janet Jackson and Bon Jovi all taking turns on the Summerfest stage.
