Large crowds of people packed into Phantom Fireworks to get their hands on fireworks that will light up the night sky.

Ryley, the manager of Phantom Fireworks, said items have been flying off the shelves and customers are spending serious cash.

"The most today we have seen is $3,000 in one transaction but we have seen a few before that of $4,000 or $5,000 too," said Riley.

Employees have been stocking up the shelves as customers take advantage of their buy one, get one offer.

"W have a lot of trucks coming in with products and trucks going out," said Ryley.

Customers like Cedric are excited to light his own fireworks. He does it every year for the kids.

"This part lasts about 20 seconds, but it's the best 20 seconds you had in your life," said Cedric.

Most fireworks are illegal across the state. According to a state law a permit is required if the firework is airborne.
