Competitive eaters take down pounds of cheese curds at Wisconsin State Fair [PHOTOS]
The world's top competitive eaters gathered at the Wisconsin State Fair for the first-ever Cheese Curd-Eating Championship. Major League Eating announced it as a new addition to its annual slate. Contestants had six minutes to eat as much cheese curds as possible. World champion Joey Chestnut participated – but fell short of beating the record. Darron Breeden set the world record -- eating 5 pounds, 2 ounces of cheese curds in six minutes.
