MILWAUKEE -- Rock band The Killers will perform at a grand opening celebration for the new Wisconsin Entertainment and Sports Center in downtown Milwaukee on September 4.
The first-ever show at the new Bucks arena will also feature Milwaukee natives Violent Femmes.
“Grand Opening is a once-in-a-lifetime event, and we are so excited to make this an experience to remember with a stellar performance by The Killers and Milwaukee natives Violent Femmes,” said Milwaukee Bucks President Peter Feigin. “This is just the beginning. We are committed to bringing the best of sports and entertainment to Milwaukee.”
Tickets for the show go on sale Friday, August 3 at 9:00 a.m. and can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com.
The arena officially opens on August 26, with tours available to the public at the Milwaukee Bucks' annual block party.
