PLEASANT PRAIRIE -- Dozens of people have been waiting overnight in line for Chick-fil-A's official grand opening in Pleasant Prairie.

The first 100 people in line will win free Chick-fil-A for a year.

The restaurant says the parking lot outside the restaurant has been transformed into a campground. Despite windchills in the teens currently and a day of blowing snow and rain yesterday, dozens of local residents have enjoyed entertainment, games and plenty of Chick-fil-A counting down to the opening.

More than 100 people were in line as of 4:45 a.m. Thursday.

The restaurant opens for business at 6:30 a.m. on Thursday. This is first Chick-fil-A restaurant to open in Pleasant Prairie.
