Wisconsin basketball continues to slip in the rankings. The Badgers are slotted at 24th overall in the latest AP Poll.
Wisconsin (23-8, 12-6 Big Ten) split their two games at home last week, losing to Iowa 59-57 on Thursday before bouncing back against Minnesota 66-49.
The Badgers climbed all the way to seventh in the rankings in early February, but have gone just 3-5 since then, with all five losses coming to unranked opponents.
Wisconsin’s offense has been the main culprit for their struggles; the Badgers rank just 196th in the country in scoring, and have not cracked 80 points in a game since a win over Penn State on Jan. 24.
Wisconsin still received a double bye for the Big Ten tournament after finishing second in the conference. The Badgers will face the winner of Iowa and Indiana at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
