The Green Bay Packers have resigned running back Christine Michaels, adding him to the mix of potential started for the rushing position next season.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter announced on Twitter that the running back was staying in Green Bay.

The Packers signed him off of waivers in the middle of last season from the Seattle Seahawks, and he played nine games for Green Bay scoring one touchdown.

While Michaels helps add depth to the depleted Packers’ running game with Ty Montgomery, it still does not offer a clear answer to who the number one feature back will be next season, if there is one.
