The Milwaukee Admirals are moving home to the University of Wisconsin Panther Arena.
The minor league hockey team just finished up their last season at the BMO Harris Bradley Center, and inked a ten-year lease to play at their new, old home.
The Admirals once played at the same arena back in the 70's.
The new ice means millions of dollars in upgrades, including a new modern-looking locker room for the team. Other improvements include: a new scoreboard, new bathrooms, new food, and new seats.
The price tag of the renovations is $6.3 million.
The arena is a lot smaller than the Bradley Center. It will hold about 9,000 fans, but the CEO of the team, Harris Turer, says the smaller venue works in the team's favor.
"When you fill up a building, it is so much louder and so exciting. I think that's what we're looking forward to the most."
Construction crews are under a tight timeline. Renovations must be completed by October 29th. That's when the Admirals play their first home game.
Construction will start on Monday.
