GREEN BAY -- The Green Bay Packers' first post-Rodgers-injury quarterback personnel move is coming from within.
Cornerback Quinten Rollins was placed on injured reserve after hurting his ankle Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings, the team announced Monday afternoon. To fill the open roster spot, QB Joe Callahan was signed from the practice squad to the active roster.
Coach Mike McCarthy made it clear Sunday that Brett Hundley would be the starter in the absence of Aaron Rodgers, who could be out for the remainder of 2017 with a broken right collarbone.
Callahan was on the Packers roster for a short time in 2016, and also was on the roster of the Cleveland Browns and New Orleans Saints after his release. He has taken part in numerous Packers training camps.
