The NFL reportedly says that they will suspend two Pro Bowl linebackers for the Green Bay Packers if they do not comply with a demand to be interviewed by the league about allegations regarding performance-enhancing substances.
Tom Pelissero of USA TODAY reports that the NFL has told the league's players association that it is requiring Clay Matthews and Julius Peppers, along with former Packers linebacker Mike Neal, to give interviews to the league about their alleged role in use and distribution of performance-enhancing drugs.
The interviews must happen by next Thursday, or they will all be suspended until they grant interviews.
The allegations came from a story reported by Al Jazeera America back in December.
The report alleges that Neal brought at least a dozen Packers players into his circle as part of distribution efforts.
