It appears one of the Packers wide receivers fighting for a job may be missing it the next month to month-and-a-half.
ESPN's Rob Demovsky reports that Janis will be missing the next 4-6 weeks at least after hand surgery.
According to Demovsky, Janis had screws placed in a broken finger.
Janis has been perceived as a project at wide receiver, but has shown exceptional speed and willingness to play both gunner and returner at special teams.
After two years, his statistics include four catches for 95 yards in the regular season.
However, in the 2015 playoffs, he made seven catches for 145 yards and two touchdowns. That included a "Hail Mary" from Rodgers on the final play of regulation in the NFC Divisional Playoff in Arizona, which sent the game to overtime.
