Pregame story
This Packers Gameday will be an arduous task for Mike McCarthy and company.
The Packers are in his hometown to face the Pittsburgh Steelers, a team with a five game winning streak with three extra days of rest. They also have a run defense that has given up 59 yards per game in those five wins.
Oh, and they also have Ben Roethlisberger and maybe the best receiver in football in Antonio Brown.
The Packers' offense comes in with major issues - not just Brett Hundley's struggles at quarterback, but the run game that won't have Aaron Jones and probably won't have Ty Montgomery in the backfield, as he's listed as doubtful for tonight's game.
So is defensive tackle Kenny Clark, while Clay Matthews and Kevin King are among those listed as questionable.
It was the first time the Packers had been two-touchdown underdogs since their Sunday night game in New England in 2010 with a backup quarterback. What did they do after that? Oh, just win six straight games including a Super Bowl.
This time, Aaron Rodgers won't be coming off the bench next week. These injured Packers have to figure it out themselves.
Stay tuned.
