Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy is trying to get his sea legs under him this offseason. Lacy posted a video on Twitter and Instagram on Tuesday of him doing an underwater workout as he tries to work his way back from an ankle injury.

Lacy missed the last 11 games of the regular season and the entire postseason after undergoing in-season ankle surgery. His status with Packers is up in the air right now; he will become a free agent in less than three weeks. The Packers have already moved on from backup running back James Starks, releasing him earlier this month after seven seasons with the team.

Receiver-turned-tailback Ty Montgomery took over the starting role once Lacy went down in October. Montgomery totaled 451 yards on just 72 carries over the final 10 regular season games, including 162 rushing yards in Week 13 against Chicago.

Green Bay has been connected to several running backs in the upcoming NFL draft, including Stanford star Christian McCaffrey.
