Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been placed on injured reserve Friday, according to the team.
Rodgers had surgery on his broken collarbone Thursday, which he broke in Sunday’s game against the Vikings.
Rodgers posted on social media Friday thanking the fans for support through his surgery.

He is expected to be out at least eight weeks, but could possibly return at the end of the season.
