On a day where a last-second score kept the Packers from the worst home loss in 11 years, one of their key men in the secondary bluntly and explicitly commented about his team's failures.
When asked about the defensive performance Monday in the Packers' 30-17 loss to the Detroit Lions, cornerback Damarious Randall said it plainly.
As quoted by the Journal Sentinel's Michael Cohen, "We just (expletive) the bed. Point blank. Period."
More Randall: "It was just a lack of coverage, a lack of pass rush, a lack of everything. They just flat out played better tonight. Period."

The numbers bear out Randall's self-criticism of his unit. The Packers gave up to the Lions:
- 417 total offensive yards
- 353 passing yards on 26 completions in 33 attempts (10.4 yards per pass play)
- 8/13 on third down
- 36:55 in time of possession to the Lions
