Pop star Justin Timberlake will be headlining the halftime show at this season's Super Bowl, but he plans to be doing something else as well -- watching the Green Bay Packers play.

Timberlake made the bold prediction during an interview with the NFL Network when asked who he balances getting ready for the halftime show while there's a game going on.

"It'll be really tough trying to think about what I have to do while watching the Packers in the Super Bowl," Timberlake responded.

Timberlake says Brett Favre is the reason why a Memphis boy like him is a Packers fan.

"At that time, Brett Favre was the king of the south. Being where I was from, when he went to Green Bay, I think a lot of us in my hometown shifted to become Packers fans," Timberlake said.

Timberlake also lauded the Lambeau Field experience.

"You also got to respect a team that the city owns. That is one of the coolest things, bucket list, I don't care who you are in the NFL, if you get a chance to go to Lambeau and watch a game, you have to do it," Timberlake said.
