MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Bucks joined the NBA free agency frenzy Friday, adding Bosnian power forward Mirza Teletovic on a three-year deal, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.

Stein, ESPN'S NBA Insider, tweeted the news just before 2:00 p.m. Friday afternoon:

Teletovic was born in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1985. He's accrued four years of NBA service: Three with the Brooklyn Nets, and most recently with the Phoenix Suns.

Notably, Teletovic played under Coach Jason Kidd when both were still with Brooklyn. They are also both represented by the same agent, Jeff Schwartz.

Teletovic could be an instant improvement for the Bucks when it comes to three-point shooting. He has shot .390 or higher from beyond the arc in two of his four seasons.

In other Bucks news, former bench player O.J. Mayo was disqualified by the NBA Friday over a drug policy violation. He's eligible to be reinstated in two years.
