The four-year star out of the University of Virginia averaged 10.2 points and 4.2 assists per game for the Bucks this season, and shot 40.4 percent from beyond the arc.
Brogdon was a do-it-all asset for Milwaukee; he finished in the top five among all rookies in minutes, points, assists, steals, three-point percentage, and free throw percentage.
Brogdon is the first Bucks player to win the award since Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (then Lew Alcindor) in 1970.
