A group of kids got an All-Star surprise from the Milwaukee's Bucks start Tuesday.

Giannis Antetokounmpo met some young basketball fans from the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee and helped them go on a shopping spree.

And when you love the Milwaukee Bucks as much as these kids, nothing beats the chance to hang out with one of their star players.

"That's my favorite team," said Ashad Fudge, one of the lucky 15 members from the club who received a $100 gift card to shop with Antetokounmpo at Dick's Sporting Goods in Wauwatosa.

The club members also received a signed jersey from the Greek Freak himself.

Two years ago, Fudge says he lost the only Bucks jersey he had.

"Our house caught on fire," he said. "It got burnt up in there."

All of the kids play for the Emerging Athletes Basketball League at the Boys and Girls Club.

"I hold defense," said Larnese McVicker, who couldn't stop smiling as Antetokounmpo helped her pick out some new clothes.

"I got a Nike outfit," said McVicker. "I'm going to wear it someday, on a special day."

Eric Brown, the director of recreation and healthy lifestyles at the Boys and Girls Club, says the basketball league they participate in isn't so much about competition, but rather skill building.

He says Antetokounmpo is someone the kids talk about a lot in the gym.

"I'm hoping it's life-changing for them," said Brown. "Just seeing that there's potential to get out and you are important enough for somebody as big as Giannis, a superstar, to come by and say 'I appreciate you.'"

Antetokounmpo says basketball helped him when he was young and he hopes it helps these kids as well.

"They've been supporting me since day one," he said. "Not just those kids, Milwaukee. As long as they had fun, I was having fun too."
