NEW YORK -- The NBA announced today that former Milwaukee Bucks player O.J. Mayo has been dismissed and disqualified from the league over violations of the anti-drug program.
Mayo, who is currently a free agent, will be eligible to apply for reinstatement in two seasons.

The 28-year-old shooting guard played two seasons for the Bucks, appearing in 123 games and averaging just over 11 points per game across that span.
Mayo's season came to an abrupt end in March when he broke his ankle reportedly tripping and falling down the stairs at his home.
