After a series of minor league changes, the Milwaukee Brewers are currently without a Triple-A affiliate for the 2019 season.
The Colorado Springs Sky Sox, Milwaukee's current Triple-A club, is being moved to the rookie ball level Pioneer League. The Helena Brewers will move to Colorado Springs and take the Sky Sox name.
Taking the place of the Sky Sox at the Triple-A level will be the San Antonio Missions, upgrading from Double-A to Triple-A. However, the Brewers will not automatically receive the San Antonio affiliate (which is currently used by the San Diego Padres).
If the below moves happen, Fresno would be likeliest for Brewers Triple-A. But that's a year-plus away, so we shall see. https://t.co/9fZYKl889I

Fresno is currently the Triple-A affiliate of the Houston Astros.
Colorado Springs has long been an issue for major league clubs because of its location. Security Service Field is at an elevation over 6,000 feet, which increases the amount of offense and muddies the development of prospects.
The Brewers and Colorado Springs have had a relationship since 2014.
