MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Brewers have confirmed reports from Venezuela that former pitcher Ruben Quevedo has passed away.
Quevedo was 37 years old.

Quevedo died of a heart attack, according to the Venezuelan publication Lider.
The Twitter account of the team Tigres de Aragua in Maracay, Venezuela also shared the news.

Quevedo had an 11-20 record with a 5.66 ERA from 2001-03 with Milwaukee. He also pitched with the Cubs for a year, and with Aragua and Venezuelan club Magallanes.
