MILWAUKEE -- It looks so real, students have been brought to tears. A mock crash showing the dangers of distracted driving will take place at Washington High School.

Cynthia Campbell joined us on Live at Daybreak along with a Milwaukee Fire Lieutenant to share why they do this every year.

Campbell shared she lost her son at 17 years old, when he was thrown from a vehicle as passenger in a crash where his friend was distracted with his phone.

Firefighters use a car that was in a real crash and actors show what the scene would look like if it were real. A casket is brought in to give children the dark reality of what can happen if you make the wrong choice.

This is happening next Saturday, May 13 at Washington High School in Milwaukee.
