JANESVILLE -- Hours before his remarks were scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m., hundreds of anti-Trump protesters converged on Janesville to try to counter the GOP front runner's message.
As early as noon Tuesday, protesters were already making their presence known, as TODAY'S TMJ4's Julia Fello tweeted:

Trump supporters and protesters also exchanged words on the issues, as seen from Fello's tweets:

Janesville's chief of police David Moore tells TODAY'S TMJ4 that more than 300 law enforcement officers from both Wisconsin and Illinois were on scene.
Chief Moore explained before the rally outside the Holiday Inn Express, a 15-year-old was groped and pepper sprayed by unidentified suspects. Here's what Chief David Moore said via Fello's tweet:

Chief Moore says about 1,000 people showed up outside the Trump rally and another 1,000 were inside at the Trump Rally. Earlier this month, a Trump rally in Chicago was canceled after protesters clashed with supporters inside and interrupted Trump's speech.
