MILWAUKEE -- It's down to the final two: Current Mayor Tom Barrett and Alderman Bob Donovan will face off in April's mayoral election.
Barrett and Donovan both held significant leads over the other two candidates on the ballot, Joe Davis Sr. and James Methu.
The overall edge still went to the incumbent - Barrett finished in first with 45 percent of the vote, while Donovan followed with 34 percent.
Donovan's campaign has been highly critical of Mayor Barrett's budgeting, especially when it comes to law enforcement spending and the controversial Milwaukee streetcar project.
The vote for Milwaukee's next mayor will be held on Tuesday, April 5th.
